Okay, well it looks like I begin my infusion therapy earlier than expected. I am a bit nervous. They have me scheduled to begin on this Saturday at 1:30 and I am waiting to here from the doctor's office what time my PICC Line will be done. All I know is this Friday so far. My emotions are mixed on this. It will be a good thing to get it started yet I know the things that can happen once this is in place. Plus I had planned on staying the night with my grandkids this Friday and it looks like this is out. Hopefully I can visit after the outpatient procedure on Friday for the PICC Line but I know how my body reacts to being put it twilight. I sleep all day.
I have a great deal of difficulty trying to figure this out but here it goes. A couple of months ago I wanted to start a blog for my Late Stage Lyme Disease but as I said, I have trouble following directions. I am going to post now and upload some files so that you may see where I am at in my treatment for Lyme and how I am progressing.

I began the Malarone on 11-12-2014, after a few days the day and night sweats were becoming less intense. Still there but not as back. After a week they were gone almost completely. Then began Ceftin and A-Bab and A-forgot but at any rate my sweats came back along with fevers a bit higher again. Par for this course. Still doing very war salt water soaks with jets in tub. Sometimes I can make it the whole way and other times I can't. It sometimes make me feel too sick and Jack has to help me out of the tub.
I see the doctor again on Thursday and hopefully everything will be in place to start the Rocephin orally for a week, get the PICC Line in, and then begin the Infusion Therapy the following week.
My plan is to stay the night with the grandkids this Friday because I know what lies ahead is going to be extremely difficult. Plus I have to deal with DHS here in Michigan and get my food stamp situation taken care of. I will also have to stop the oxygen because I just can't afford it even though it seems to help. I do not have as much small vessel damage as I did. It also gave me more energy. The shots are beginning to leave bruised now though and my buttocks hurts a great deal. Jack said the needles are starting to bounce off of me, which of course causes bruising. The pain, huh, what can I say. Still there.
Have a good one all and God bless and here is wishing you a pain free and confusion free day.
Oh yes, confusion free would be nice as well along with the tinnitus which is beginning in my right ear now.
